Lord, I’ve seen what you’ve done for others and ask that you do this for me.
Has never happened to me either, firearm or otherwise.
I’ve delivered lots of guns, to the best of my knowledge though, they were supposed to be going there!
The absolute worst thing I’ve ever seen was we had a fire in the building, some college kid shipped his dorm home, including his art supplies and laptop…. The paint thinner leaked on the battery and burning box on the conveyor belt!
The fire department showed up and sprayed everything down, nobody was hurt, a whole bunch of packages got wet, including the back of two trailers that were being loaded nearby.
Some corporate schmuck declared that the cause of the fire was a hazmat, and therefore all the water damaged packages had been contaminated, and must be disposed of to protect the recipients from being exposed.
So they literally backed the trailers with the wet packages up to a roll off dumpster and threw everything away!
I happened to glance into the rolloff and spotted a box that was the right size for a rifle….
I looked a bit closer, and sure enough, there was at least a dozen firearms in the trash!
I pulled out the ones I could get to, but I also found a shipping manifest that listed at least a dozen other guns I didn’t find!
Simply unbelievable.
