We all started out with very limited knowledge about all things firearms - and for many here, that seems like a lifetime ago. I remember learning the difference between a hollow point and a full metal jacket when I started carrying. It was eye-opening and exciting to learn about all the different options of ammo! https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/blog/what-is-hollow-point-ammo/
But like with many topics, once I scratched the surface of different ammunition options I realized how much I didn’t know.
What other topic did you get excited to start learning about only to realize there was so much more to learn than you ever expected?
@Sheepdog556 Reloading allows me to shoot the quantity and quality that I want. Not that hard to make basic ammo but when you get down in the weeds on high performance stuff for long distance it can be a little daunting. Got a bud in Bremerton that would be happy to show you the ropes.
I was always intrigued by the caliber choices. Thanks to science, this has become easier as most quality ammunition from .380 to .45 are similarly reliable and effective.
