I seem to remember something about the Civil War establishing the superiority of Federal Law over State Law, but I don’t know if that’s official or not.

I do not know if it is just weed but would venture to say not.
I have always seen this as a way to make owning and buying firearms illegal… just look at records and start confiscating guns… but personally if you use marijuana or any other narcotics i don’t want you anywhere near me with a gun… although I can avoid being near because I can smell that skunky smiling crap across the parking lot.

Absolutely. And the Feds have promised to IGNORE this drug dealing without rescheduling marijuana. So they, too, are complicit by willful negligence.

And I think that could open the door to an equal protection claim to prosecutions in states where marijuana has been condoned by the state.
