I feel (âhopeâ may be a better word here) that there is more to this story than is being presented in this article.
I see nothing about this on GOA. ![]()

GOA is Fighting the Trump Administration⊠Again

Three Pending Lawsuits Against the Trump DOJ
Two Ways to Make a Long-Lasting Impact On Our Second Amendment Rights
1. Tweet @AGPamBondi and tell her to stop the DOJ from dismissing GOAâs lawsuits challenging the ATFâs gross weaponization against our right to keep and bear arms.
2. Please chip in your support to help fund our lawsuits and make these protections permanent.
Letâs be honest â this is frustrating.
For the third time since President Trump took office, GOA is back in court fighting one of his agencies.
Donât get us wrong â the Trump administration has delivered some huge wins for gun owners. From rolling back Biden-era regulations to appointing pro-Second Amendment judges, theyâve been a breath of fresh air.
But when it comes to making our legal victories permanent, we canât let anyone â not even our allies â stall real progress.
Hereâs what weâre fighting:
-
Michigan CCW Permits: We sued Bidenâs ATF for interfering with concealed carry holders. While the Trump DOJ issued a temporary fix, itâs NOT permanent. A future Kamala Harris administration could wipe it out overnight.
-
âEngaged in the Businessâ Rule: We secured an injunction blocking Bidenâs scheme to force every private sale through a background check. But the DOJ is dragging its feet on withdrawing their appeal â an appeal that, if dropped, we believe could lead to a permanent victory in court.
-
Zero Tolerance Policy: This Biden-era nightmare crushed small gun dealers and revoked hundreds of FFL licenses. While Trumpâs ATF recently repealed this abusive policy (thanks to pressure from GOA), theyâre trying to dismiss our lawsuit as âmootâ rather than locking in permanent protections.
Hereâs the bottom line: The ATF has a long history of weaponizing rules whenever a hostile president takes office. If we donât secure ironclad court victories now, a future President Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom could reinstate these attacks with the stroke of a pen.
GOAâs legal team is already racking up tens of thousands in legal bills fighting these battles â and weâre not slowing down. But we canât do this without you.
The ATFâs whack-a-mole tactics must end. GOA has the legal firepower and grassroots support to make it happen â but only if patriots like you stand with us.
Weâve proven we can win. Now, we need to win for good.
I love Trump but the DOJ isnât perfect.
The ATF isnât perfect.
Also, I would trust FPC before the NRA.
Whatâs going on with the MI permits? I havenât had a problem under sleepy Joe problem have heard of any.
