I would be much more worried about the antifa wannabes sitting in their parents basement waiting for the call to go out and “peacefully” protest come January 20th.
And I personally am much more worried about the fact that the Trump transition team is not spending any time pointing out how much the government has been hiding the horrible economic situation the politicians fuzzy math has been covering up for decades. Either they aren’t aware that we are completely bankrupt or they are going to continue building up that pile under the rug in hopes of hiding it long enough to stick it to the next administration.
Even if the billionaires and millionaires running DOGE can somehow magically cut $2 trillion from the budget in a way that hurts the rest of us less than it benefits their personal bank accounts, we are still going to be in for a massive amount of economic pain.
Murphy is getting ready to throw one heck of a party. But in this party’s case the distracting music is likely to end suddenly and there are very few chairs to go around that haven’t already been reserved by the people most responsible for putting us in this situation.
