POLL: Are You Finding Ammo? If so, where?

At the Lauritzen gas station in Wild Rose, Wisconsin. Obviously, customers are only able to purchase one box at a time.

I am an SRO at the sherif range. Plenty of ammo.

Bought 1000 rounds at local gun shop recently. Winchester white box 9mm $62 per box! Ouch!

I have several websites and I just keep searching them over and over again. Also, signing up for when stuff is back in stock.

ammoseek is great, but private sales on local forums are better in price and trade check your local forums for me northeastshooters.com is local

Also not all online places will ship to MA

I mean, I do find ammo, especially .22LR almost weekly at great prices here at a local store (which I won’t disclose). I find 9mm monthly there for $16.00 a box of 50. but again, it’s not often.

2A Warehouse. Luckily able to get 9mm target rounds. self defense rounds are too pricey right now. Luckily I stocked up months ago, prices were going up then, now prices are out of control. Sign up to get alerts and be prepared to buy right away as either stock decreases within hours, or only high priced rounds will be available.

I use ammoseek.com but rarely ever get alerts for decently priced ammo. The range has decent prices on FMJ and I usually buy from there when shooting. A couple of local shops sell at good prices but they are hardly ever in stock. I haven’t come across any 9mm or .380 JHP in forever because I can’t justify the price.

Not able to find in local stores, but I can still find my ammo online at academy.com, or sigsauer.com, though it’s definitely more expensive than it used to be.

Bass pro shops 3 days a week.

Gun show - quite a bit but tooooo $$$$
very little in Academy, gun shops, Bass Pro, (BIG BOX) and then limited in purchase quantity - and $$$

On line, cheaper than dirt, midway, classic firearms but the price is far more than I am willing to pay. I don’t know about you but I refuse to pay 40 to 50 cents for a .22LR. or 1over a dollar a round for .223 or 5.65x45, 9mm are getting close. It’s rediculas and I simply won’t pay for it. Call me frugal, cheap skate whatever but i won’t period.

I’ve been reloading for about 45 years so these events never impact me. I purchase whenever I see it and consider past component shortages to aid me in my purchase decisions.

Mostly local outside of my city. Some from Cheaperthandirt.com.
Nothing but range rounds.

The calibers I need are either not available or so grossly over priced I can’t afford them. With this “administration” count on it getting worse. Fortunately I have plenty of .22 for practice but being very “judicious” with self defense. As a security team member and in charge of training at my church it’s crucial to be ready at all times.

Some ammo at the range I go to. Big auction source this weekend, probably high prices though, Powell Auction Knoxville TN.

Find ammo @ Chipper than Dirt, Lucky Gunner, Ammo Depot, Ammunition Warehouse

I’m a firearms dealer. I’m doing my part to keep ammo in stock and offer it at as close to “normal” pricing as possible. Unlike many of my counterparts (and scalpers) in the industry who’ve used this shortage as an opportunity to fleece the average consumer.
