@BeanCounter Damn dude, a little bit of warning next time. I wasn’t ready for that.
“Stop looking at me! I’m not crying, you’re crying”.
Just two weeks ago I had to have my best buddy euthanized. He just couldn’t do it anymore. I’m still all torn up over it.
No more dogs.
I’m sorry for your loss. They are family, and when they go it cuts to the soul.
My wife just said the same thing earlier when we were talking about Storm.
She’s doing a lot better now.
I am very sorry to hear of your loss, David. I have a few buddies up there & I am sure they’ve welcomed yours for forever care-free, pain-free playtime.
Hopefully he will be able to come home tonight, when he does come home her little brain is gonna explode!

I hope that your son is on the mend and that he is released soon!
She definitely got belly rubs! ![]()
Pulling a crash victim out of a wreck, no problem.
Squaring off to an armed opponent, got it covered.
Nearly getting my arm ripped off in a conveyor belt? Huh,… that’s gonna need stitches! ![]()
Son had two absolutely massive seizures yesterday….
Watching my 23yo son turning blue while seizing and probably 10 nurses trying to help him? Nothing, I’ve got nothing…. Totally helpless.
Little miss absolutely loves him, she knows something is wrong and will absolutely smother him in kisses and wiggles when he gets home! ![]()

I think it’s what an EMT friend of mine said. My son got bucked of a bare back horse, face planted and layed there unconscious for 27 minutes. I was a wreck. I’ve been involved in some really gruesome industrial accidents and didn’t bat an eye, jump in help the injured no effect.
Rick put it very simple to me “You knew his name, you are his family… that makes it all different.”
The ‘Injuries’ to Family and Brothers is the most Traumatic. (Because as @Mike164 just said ‘YOU KNOW THEM’). That CONNECTION makes all the difference in the World ----good or Bad.
I pray for your Son sending Angels to keep him calm.
Thanks guys.
He’s back home now after a slew of tests and with some new meds. Hopefully the specialist can congeal all the test results and give us some inside to why this happened.
Little doggo is hyper focused on him this morning….. well okay hyper focused on the sandwich he was eating
Very glad to hear this, Will! I, too, hope the specialist/doctors determine how & why this happened, hopefully also with a plan to prevent it from happening again.
