I will agree my new tank is therapeutic….
These are all plants and bugs…
I can’t say the same for my old tank with my loach.
She’s part of why I set this tank up!
To breed her live shrimps for food!

So I’m trying to build an entire ecosystem (that is also aesthetically appealing) for feeder shrimps?
Which is in turn stupid stressful, because water parameters can be super hard to maintain!
I mean, I give my doggo water and kibble (and way too much people food)
But I don’t have to vacuum her poops (or pee) like with a fish tank, where I change the air that they breathe!
The truth is I expect this to crash…. And I will mourn many of the critters in there.
I’m doing what I can to protect them, even if they’re technically sacrificial….
