Pat is a safe / gender neutral name. It could be for Patrick, or Patricia like the antagonist character on SNL Saturday Night Live.
So, you don’t have to determine the Tarantula Trans’ 
actual gender. It could be either / any: Hintz-57 variety.

Well, first, it’s a jumping spider, not a tarantula. And, second, gender is incredibly important because it is wild caught and a female only needs to mate once in order to produce viable clutches for the rest of her life, so it would be good to know if I might have to deal with babies at some point.
But I like the Pat idea.

I love jumping spiders! We have big ones here, (about 1/2” long) black and blue or green…. As well as smaller tan/ grey ones.
If I find them inside they’ll get relocated to my houseplants or back outside.

They’re adorable little creatures.
I never planned to keep one, but my dogs were looking like they wanted to eat it, so I guess I’m a spider dad now.

My 15 year old clown loach is sleeping…..
It finally doesn’t spend its entire day hiding…. So I finally get to see this behavior! 
At first I thought it croaked,… but I looked it up and yeah, these fish sleep on their sides.

Nahh, she will just nest on the couch and stare at me like that until I pay attention to her! 
It’s incredibly difficult to get a picture of it because as soon as I point the phone she will sit up and wag her whole self!!!
Mostly she’s just hoping that adorableness will get her people food.
