Her story is amazing and inspiring to all.
Kim Rhode became the youngest woman in Olympic history to win a shooting sport Gold Medal when she clinched first place in Double Trap at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia just days after her seventeenth birthday. While that is beyond impressive, it wasn’t her first win at the global level.
Nice story, but that link is a riot. under “personal crisis” father broke her leg. That is tough. lol
I do not know much about this, or olympics. Mainly from the disadvantage of my sloppy couch. But once saw an oylmpic game where the participants ran a gamut of activities including skiing, then at the end, rifle marksmanship. Women were competing, what a tough event.
Did you hear of a new upcoming talk show but the panel are only women, its mainly political though. At first, I thought, oh no, not another one. But did think it was kinda interesting in that it’s a differing view point. I’ll try to attach a link below of a preview:
The preview starts at this 16:22 time marker, the show is called “Her take”:
I know there are many, but Jerry Miculek’s daughter - Lena Miculek, a champion, seems a great up and coming expert and spokesperson in her own right.
And how about that smart and bright young star, Autumn Fry? Age 12, but she started competitive shooting since she was 7.
The future looks bright.
I have been looking at them too! I was actually waiting between times of post to do them.
