Venus and Jupiter were at their closest conjunction last night,.. if you look closely at the bottom right you can also see Mercury in frame. :grin:

Not too bad of a pic from a cell phone in the middle of a badly light polluted industrial area!

I like seeing alignments like this as it shows the plane of the solar system as the planets orbit the sun in real time.

We were watching them for a few nights. My wife was oohing and aaahing over the stars, so I got the nods out…even without them it really makes you think looking at the stars.
