National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act | USCCA Blog

Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) reintroduced H.R. 38 — the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act — to the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this month. This national reciprocity legislation is designed to give those of us who choose to carry for self-defense an even field of law across the U.S.

THIS is what I categorize as “constructive” legislation, and it’s at least 10 years overdue!

Love the thought. In December I was approved for Maryland carry and never thought I would get it! Maybe there is hope for this.

Persistent pays, persist until you prevail.

I don’t like the counties being the issuing authority, they all can be too different and arbitrary.

I like it if the state is a shall issue sole authority like in Tennessee.

If you submitted a properly completed application, paid the fee, and don’t have any prohibiting issues, the state is efficient at processing those applications in a timely manner.

Counties might be inefficient at processing them, and an anti 2A clerk might sit on your application.
