I want everyone who reads this to understand, our demise as a nation has always been envisioned. One only has to study the reasons for the rise and fall of former empires.
In his early years as a statesman, Abraham Lincoln (age 28, circa 1838) gave a profound warning.
âAt what point then is the approach of danger [for America] to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.â
Lincoln was prescient. We must heed his words now. The internal forces of disintegration of our republic are no longer theoretical, they are very real, very dangerous and growing in scale, scope and with sufficient resources to sustain their efforts.
Mr. @POTUS @realDonaldTrump take heed of young Lincolnâs words. He was wise beyond his years.
