If you want to have an honest discussion, start being honest.
Lastly, if you’re going to attribute something that was said to a person, be intellectually honest enough to cite the entirety of the statement. If you want to be honest, you would have first listened to the whole statement rather than the portion that fit your narrative.

If we phrase things as questions it feels like less of an attack and more like we are trying to help them think critically.
I’m not sure if it’s worth my investment of time to explain. I CLEARLY stated in the beginning, that him having a company wherein he employed 40 Black employees was his flailing attempt to prove that he wasn’t/isn’t racist. Nowhere did I claim or imply that business, itself, was racist.

I have taken to my training and practice more than ever, and I monitor carefully my physical health and well-being. The commentary of Don102 is inspirational to me and I believe more than ever in being prepared. I know there will come a day when all my hard work will be put to use.
