Guntubers

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Just got a fave from @Micheal15 on this post.

I never wanted an AR-15 platform for CQB!

It’s no longer trench warfare, you’re launching rounds hundreds of yards, or CQB of pistols.

Urban warfare can shift from clearing a room at point blank range, to engaging a sniper 200 yards away!

You need a weapon designed for engagement from zero distance, to hundreds of yards.

Thus, the bullpup!

I went shooting with an ex navy buddy of mine this week….

He’s interested in an X-95 Tavor rifle, so he wanted to shoot mine.

Yeah, the manual of arms is different, but he did decent with it.

His biggest issue was the shorter over all length of draw was harder to stabilize on long range (200+ yards)

However, i had little issue connecting out to 600 with my Tavor 7….

It’s realistically about what you train with.

Edit; the picture is my 5.56 SAR rifle, I do not own an X-95 though the Tavor 7 is basically the same platform in the larger caliber…..

And I do own the Tavor 7

Since I know nothing about these rifles, what is this?

Honestly, not 100% on the purpose of that, though I suspect it is part of swapping the rifle to a left handed operator function.

Nevermind, that is a reversible qd sling point!

I’ve been comfortable with the setup of this gun for so long I’ve forgotten some of the adjustments that can be made!

I dreamt of that last night :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

F’ that paddle :ox::poop: ! And put a standard capacity magazine in it please!

What does cali say about trigger mods?

The SAR and X-95 both have combat tiggers in them, sloppy 9-12 pound pull that makes a Glock look like good triggers from factory.

If you can’t modify the 5.56 trigger, then get the 7

Its factory trigger is far better! (Still a bit sloppy combat trigger, but only about 6-7 pounds)

Sadly, it has to stay or I instantly become a lawbreaker. I don’t think we have restrictions on trigger mods. I’m not picky. I shoot what I have—stock.

It’s starting to get a little humid in the garage. Also about out of my best MREs…

You need a dehumidifier and a case of ramen. Problem solved.

a 5-6 lb. trigger pull

Gun owner since 2013 only, and military “experience” limited to some M-16 range time, I have no point of reference about trigger pull. Ignorance is bliss. Even bringing three or four pistols to the range, I can’t say I notice the difference in trigger or I’m not paying attention. Only features that really stand out are weight and width, and that’s just recently when I switched from Shield subcompact to VP9SK.
