I’m really wanting to step up on my next friend. It would be cool to bring this guy to the office
The Air Force Security Forces trained these guys at Lackland. Maybe when I retire or win the lottery…

Of you can afford a puppy, the training isn’t that hard. Plus if you train it as a SAR, Drug,Firearm, Or corpse finding dog you can donate you and it’s service to Local LEO and some of its cost become tax deductible

Brother it is the time thats the problem for me. During the week I have barely enough time to pet my cats. I ride in a vanpool just to recoup a few hours in the day like writing this response at 0505.
Doh!
Sorry brother man. I get so wrapped up in my love for puppers I forget about time constraints.
Well if you ever get a Belgian Malois. Send him to me, pay for vet and food, gimme about a year. Then a weekend to get him socialized to you and I will train him. I do have references.
My German Shepherd answers the phone when my granddaughter gives it to him. He also gives her the ball so she can throw it. He gets sad when she throws it and goes to get it herself instead of letting him get it.
But then he licks her hand until she gives him the ball anyway.
Damn right you do!

Too funny! Love the white dog of the apocalypse one.
I once had a German Shorthaired Pointer. The meme you posted is spot on. Highly intelligent in the field, dumb as a bag of hammers at home.
They are my favorites, I love their intense desire to participate. In the field they are in their element. Back home they just know that if I let them tag along they can help doesn’t matter if it is brain surgery or rolling the garbage cans in from the street
It gets them in trouble but they mean well.
