I watched this video from TFB TV YouTube channel. It sounds like the FBI prefer the 135-148 grain 9mm. For years people have been suggesting the 124 grain. Any thoughts on this?

Just my preference. 147gr in barrels 4 inch and longer. These lengths should generate enough velocity for good expansion. And for shorter barrels 124gr.

All is about own experience and preferences.
I heard 124gr is the best for 4” barrel… but when I tested my favorite SD ammo (Speer Gold Dot) I actually found better results with 115gr.
Speed tests showed higher muzzle energy from 115gr than 124gr and I also felt better shooting 115gr.
Then I switched my EDC from 4” to 3.25”, so didn’t even think about 124gr anymore.
