When killing/war is demanded, rational people listen. What a sad day for the world. This man would have been President. And he would have made a DAMN fine President. Free speech died a little today. This was choregraphed. The first one arrested wasnât the shooter, the second one arrested dressed in all black laying down on top of a building wasnât the shooter either. Now, they probably have one left to find. Sounds like someone is trying really hard to hide the killer.

Condolences to Mr. Kirkâs family and friends. I was never far leaning, but I always admired his love for discussion and debate, and had thought one day heâd run for and win an office election. Such a bright young man, he seemed like a good man. He happened to be opinionated, but was fearless, and to me a respectful person. I never knew he was born in a suburb of Chicago. Even CNN is paying homage to him, saying he has no equal. I never met him, but a part of me wonders that he knew he was at risk, but he still carried on in his mission with passion. He had a wife and two children, a daughter age three, son age one.
The President ordered flags be flown at half staff.
I just realized, tomorrow is September 11th.
