I bought several. Find them to be low cost, keep some in my hunting kit/bag, range bag, home gun cleaning kit.
One for each caliber. Because over time, I’ve a small collection, my non regular go to’s collect a little dust and rust from humidity. I use em for quick barrel check, quick clean, in between deep cleans.
I re-use em by washing em with mild soap and ensuring they fully dry by hanging in air. Got some bore light up items to be able to look inside - but from the rear/chamber of course.
Mainly to remind me or force me to “always check the barrel”. I’m outdoors sometimes so I get up in dirt, twigs, pebbles and lots of bugs looking for a dark small space to hide.
