only been that area once. Was sent to 29 palms while in the military for 5 weeks. Flew my wife down from AK for a weekend in Vegas. Going from AK to Palm Springs in February is a real eye opener I must say

Humidity bothers me now. Growing up in MI..Humidity. station at camp Lejeune..Humidity.
Gitmo and Okinawa would get hot bit with the breeze coming in, it was tolerable.
AK generally had low Humidity, hell it would hit 80 a very few times and they issue a heat warning.
I think I froze the part of my body that deals with Humidity. Last 13 years in MI is killing me.
When I retire wife wants to move to TN, KY area, im thinking more idaho…

Might have an easy week next week at work. Work place sucks, no AC and the place retains heat.
Mid 90’s with humidity at 59% or less and due point mid 50’s to mid 60’s. It may be tolerable

Just a theory, there are a lot of fires south of here, they heat the air and produce a lot of hot smoke. So I’d say it’s not actually global warming, it’s a natural camp fire…

Making me want a nice smoked Scotch - that is what the Scots call what we call a peated Scotch. A peated Scotch is actually one that has hay and other vegetal notes from the water used in making Scotch passing through a peat bog. The barley used in making Scotch that has been smoked with wet peat is called smoked.
