My name is Theodore (Ted) Doty. I am a military brat who has lived and served in over 4 continents and 23 countries. I am a retired US Army Officer, and served with the 11th Armored Cavalry in Vietnam (68-69). My Father was a career US Army NCO (Sergeant Major), and we moved around the world every few years. Loved shooting since I was a kid and received a Colt 1911 for my ninth birthday and have been a Colt shooter since. I am looking forward to sharing and learning from a group of fellow gun lovers, and hope I can contribute in some small manner to others’ knowledge.
