I am a father of eight children and have been married to my best friend since 1980. I have been carrying firearms on a daily basis for about 25 years and as my passion for shooting and self-defense have grown, I have become a Texas License to Carry (LTC) instructor, a NRA instructor and recently a USCCA instructor. I also am a pastor for the last 40 years and am probably one of the few firearms instructors to be able to give a biblical defense for the principle of self-defense. Many of the members of my church conceal carry. I also am a software engineer for the world’s largest IT company. I also love to scuba dive and play disc golf.
