New shooter, actually last shot a handgun was 40 yrs ago…either I am old or I was young when I last shot a gun. Probably both are true

I decided to retry last year, took a class and learned that I am cross dominant eye. Which really made sense as the times I shot as a kid I couldn’t hit a tree that was 5ft in front of me! I recently purchased a Sig P226 and definitely have the bug, sadly I live in Kalifornia (granted as close to Nevada as one could be) and have been learning and anticipating my CCW in May 2021.
