I am a disabled 47-year-old father, grandfather, and husband. I spent most of my life anti-gun and recently wrote a book “From Anti-Gun to Pro-Gun and Beyond”, I also host a website www.rgdreviews.com where I share free information with new handgun owners.

I also became a certified USCCA concealed carry & home defense instructor. With my sights set on becoming a defensive fundamentals instructor and beyond. I stay current on all self-defense training, including the legal aspects, and share it with my students and readers. I believe in legally armed America and all of the rights that have been given to us in the bill of rights.

I stay away from the political side of firearm ownership as it leads to nothing but arguments and division amongst gun owners. I do follow trainers like Massad Ayoob, Rob Pincus, attorney Andrew Branca, Mickey Schuch, Kim Jacobson, and a few more.

While I have been dealt with many hardships in life, I consider myself to be blessed. After college, I spent 6 years on and off doing research about firearms that changed my life forever. I spend another 2 years deciding how to safely own and use a firearm. I was left with the realization that I could never afford to use a firearm in self-defense until I came across the USCCA. Following their training and beliefs, I was not only able to become a firearm owner and also an instructor.

I have a master’s degree in IT that I was never able to use due to becoming disabled from work injuries and 3 back surgeries. I am currently once again excited about the prospect of being able to return to work one day in the firearms field and work hard to accomplish this goal. I respect all walks of life and our rights as individuals.

I hope to work with more instructors and students in the future to not only learn from them but to also pass along what I learn. It is my belief that it is dangerous to keep all the real knowledge behind a paywall and we need to work together to bring firearm owners together as one voice.

Through unity, we can accomplish anything, through division we all lose.
