well i thought i already did introduce myself…lol. but, once again. i am joe. i live in northeast, iowa. spent two years in the army. i grew up in a family of hunters. i have always been fascinated with firearms of all kids. the military really clinched it for me. i started carrying about a year and a half ago. the two handguns i carry, one being a rock island 19111 45 acp. the other being a smith and wesson sd9ve. not really liking that one so much. no matter my stance, my grip or whatever i do, i am not not as accurate with it as i am with my 45. i am hoping to learn more from the courses here and thru you guys on here. any helpful tips i get i jot down and try to see if it works for me. the reason why i decided to carry is because i work doing maintenance on some rental properties ( not mine) but, we do seem to get some sketchy tenants at times. i am to old to run, plus my knees and ankles won’t let me very well…lol. but i am sure if it truly calls for me to run i will. really getting to old and tired to fight with my fists anymore…lol. but will if need be. i am happy to be a part of this uscca community and do hope i learn alot more than i already knew, which i am sure i will.
