Raised in Mi, moved to TN when I was 24 and married. My wife had 3 premature babies. First unexpectedly had twin daughters 2 1/2 mo premature and 5yrs later son born 2 1/2 mo premature. I had hunted some when I was young as my brother took me on a fox hunt with the church. I deer hunted for a few yrs but sold my rifle when the twins were born but didn’t hunt anymore until my son was old enough and took him to a hunting safety class. He shot his first deer when I took him hunting during juvenile hunting period. We had borrowed a neighbor’s gun to hunt with as today is a federal offense. We got him a gun that Christmas as I also got one unexpectedly and still have it and put several deer in the freezer and a 8pter mounted. I’m a sports nut as I played football, baseball, wrestled in HS and played softball for 25yrs. I went one time turkey hunting one time with my son and enjoyed it like deer hunting but haven’t gotten a shotgun yet. Two months after 9-11 I lost my wife with a brain aneurysm. As I moved on with life God had my significant other and I crossed paths as she unexpectedly lost her spouse many yrs before I lost mine. We compliment each other. She had a fear of shooting a gun from her earlier yrs. We decided to get out carry permits after Pres Trump decided to run and the way things were going. We went to class and over came her fear of shooting a gun. The instructor asked her you sure you haven’t shot a gun before? LOL. She now likes to go to the range to practice. That is the story of me as it may be too long or too detailed but it’s about me.
