Growing up a fourth generation rancher in Texas, I was taught how to properly carry and use firearms at an early age. I have been lucky enough to have seen the transition from the lingering “old west” mind set of 50+ years ago in my area of the country to the advancements in guns and ammunition, training, and the almost limitless information available to the gun community today. I am honored to have the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with this group.
