I grew up in a divided household, my dad never liked firearms. It was my grandfather that taught me to shoot when I was 8 and it’s been in my blood ever since. I started taking first responder training a year out of high school and continued learning whatever I could and still do as a passive form of protection. When my children were born I had to acknowledge that the world is not a nice, safe place and I chose to enter the concealed carry community in order to protect the people that meant the most to me.
