I think the sharp knife is the safest.

So three of us are sharpening ourselves. We have matching Airsoft and 22LR pistols, so we’re always practicing with the same gun. The Airsoft in the backyard, and once we’ve joined a local shooting club, at the target range with the 22LR. The pistols we chose also come in a 9mm version that is physically the same size as the 22LR version, should we later choose we want or need something more powerful. Also, 22LR ammo is MUCH less expensive!

The three of us each have some experience with guns, but mostly rifles for myself and my wife. I took Hunters’ Safety Course back in Montana in the '70s to get a hunting permit. Pistol shooting is very different!

Getting a CCW in Washington state isn’t difficult, but things are backed up due to C19. So we had to make appointments about 2 months out.

I’m an electronics technician, a contractor to the US Army. My wife is a retired schoolteacher, and our friend is retired LtCol from the US Army.

Mental preparation is the most important part of most of the things you’ll do in life. It is key to staying safe, and keeping those around you safe. Preferably with the minimum of injury to all involved.
