I can tell you from my own resent experience. After several, like 5 trips to the ER and 3 appointments at the Social Security/Medicare Office. With out a doubt there are More foreigners than Americans in those places, a lot more, crowded take a number wait for hours more. AND they are there with their advocates/translators. The crowd at the Social Security Office wasn’t 65 years old plus, nope, working age men and women. The crowds at the ER weren’t only sick adults but very young children. You will never in a million years convince me that the people I saw there were mostly American citizens looking for the benefits they paid for their entire working lives.
My apologies for going off topic:
According to an AI search, the city I’m in has a budget deficit of $1.75 billion, already sold our parking meters to an east Asian country (thus we don’t gain that income); Our state’s deficit is $2 billion; And the U.S. deficit is $954 billion for the year to date; For the most recently completed full fiscal year, the deficit was $1.8 trillion.
If we compare these budgets to our own personal household “nest egg” care, I sense we’d have to make very difficult decisions, have to make cutbacks, spend less, try to earn more. At the macro level, I regret – tough decisions and sacrifices need to be made, and hopefully hard work and creativity can help.
If you are talking about California, don’t you mean $20 billion?
California is projected to face a multiyear budget deficit ranging from $20 billion to $35 billion annually for 2026 and beyond, primarily due to structural issues rather than cyclical economic conditions. This ongoing deficit is a result of spending increases that have outpaced revenue growth.

California’s Budget Deficit in 2026
Overview of the Deficit
California is projected to face a multiyear budget deficit ranging from $20 billion to $35 billion annually starting in 2026. This ongoing deficit is primarily attributed to structural issues within the state’s budget rather than temporary economic fluctuations.
Key Factors Contributing to the Deficit
-
Spending Increases: The state’s expenditures have consistently outpaced revenue growth, leading to a significant imbalance.
-
Revenue Dependency: California’s budget heavily relies on taxes from wealthy individuals, particularly from capital gains, making it sensitive to stock market performance.
-
Economic Uncertainty: The potential for a downturn in the stock market poses a serious risk to future revenue projections, which could exacerbate the deficit.
Implications
The persistent budget deficit indicates that California will need to implement significant fiscal reforms or adjustments to address the imbalance. Without changes, the state may continue to face challenges in funding essential services and programs.
The people who cared about illegals were already going to vote for Trump. It is the swing voters that made the difference and got him elected. Swing voters voted for lower costs (and against a black woman).
PS. “The illegals have made housing, food, insurance, healthcare, education and much more significantly more expensive. Then there is the crime.” - this is all false.
Another comment, if anyone is interested in the truth.
He’s not an Exxon executive…
So, you believe high demand and low supply of oil will cause prices to rise for oil, but high demand and low supply of housing (because of an influx of 20 million immigrants) isn’t the cause for the rise of rent and housing?
Perplexing paradoxes patiently persist.
I thought we had a deal with Iran? Every Monday Trump announces we have a deal and by Wednesday, we have no deal. Trump is the boy who cried deal. Now Trump says he doesn’t care anymore and is bored by the whole thing. What a moron. He knows he totaly screwed the pooch and wants out. Can’t wait to see the eventual “deal”. I’m guessing he will now attack Cuba in an effort to save face.
Are we winning yet?
Yep We sure as hell are!
Jim would b!tch if trump got everything through diplomacy and he would b!tch if he went scorched earth. Its Trump and TDS
Yes. It is like making a deal with dems. It changes minute to minute. I need an app just to keep up with my identify as changes.
If he’d just say that air and water were good, this would solve itself right after the short bit of screaming.
The iranians know Trump and Vance are idiots and Trump won’t keep a proimise even if they made a deal. So this week they told him to go pound sand. Rubio is the only one with a brain, but he has no authority and Trump’s pride won’t him agree to anything unless he can say it’s better than he JCPOA because he can’t be seen as a worse negotiator that Obama. Iran will play this out for another month or two until the rest of the world starts running out of oil and then bend Trump over a barrel. It will be a terrible deal, but Trump will say it’s great, we got everything we wanted, much more then Obama got. Or Europe or China will step in and take over negotiations. Iran will make this as painful for the world as possible so no one f@cks with them again. And then we will invade Cuba.
Still living rent free in your head I see. ![]()
Don’t feel bad, you have lots of company!
The Iranians love Trump. It is the regime that thinks he is a idiot.
