As my dad used to say, “Water finds its own level.” Everyone needs to do what makes them comfortable. I have a USCCA metal plaque on the back of my car and I walk all over the place with my USCCA shirts on, more out of pride than because of corporate ID. No harm has come out of it for me. I also have a 5’ USA flag on my house and my neighbors see me walking in and out of the house with Pelican cases and all sorts of obvious gun cases. I really have no secrets… but I also have a really tight home security plan and some nice safes so as I said, balance.

Gosh, being rather new to this, I don’t know what DW stands for.

Hmm… Wouldn’t have guessed. Thanks.

I’ve started putting the stickers I get from different products on my safe.

I have to wonder about blocking Nine-line. To me, they have a lot that could be “too patriotic” or too ‘in-your-face.’ But the essence of the Company is they are Veterans. The nine-line symbolism is something so many recent vets can identify. You may also recognize “9-line” is a reference to a medical form used for triage data. It is generated so medics can inform downstream stations how someone is hurt, what was done to improve their chances to live and point the next medic/nurse in the right direction. A couple of their silkscreens are no more radical than the Pledge of Allegiance and Oath to the Constitution. If it is so bad in this society that the vision of a white paint American flag on one arm, or some text which states a vow made in honor for honor’s sake is a threat or insult, then the Union is already lost. I am proud of being a Veteran. I am proud of knowing Veterans. I still believe in the Pledge I spoke since childhood in elementary school. I see nothing in the Oath of Office to the Constitution, which says my obligation expired.

I may not be a fanatic about the College(s) in the State I currently reside in, showing the colors and waving the banners every date they have a contest with another. However, being comfortable in a place, in a Nation on this Earth is part of the pursuit of happiness.

That our Nation does better than many others and needs to do better than some is a viewpoint forming the basis for our shared experience in our life and times. There is a realization our Country needs renewal in times of peace as well as times of strife. If the Country is disavowed to prevent discomfort in the short term, the meaning is lost, and that society, once possible, is forfeited.

The Left doesn’t know who their candidate is going to be yet…

From a previous post I replied to…

I only have one sticker on my car. When people are “in the know” I make a new friend. If someone asks what it stands for I say “I don’t know. It was on the car when I bought it and I like the colors”. Lol.

Cute, but I agree that that is probably not the best. That said, I keep a lot of gun stickers on my car and truck. But that one sounds almost like a threat, which I would not advise.

I’m curious if someone within the community owns those 2 vehicles. Hey it’s a free country and I don’t care what you put on your vehicle but you’re about to become a meme for other people

@TexasEskimo I like how you’re prepared regardless if someone asks haha

It’s a little scary when you have to be concerned about stickers you have on your car and somebody taking offense to it and doing damage to your personal property or just wanting to cause a argument because of their views and them not being able to have an adult conversation about it and being able to disagree and intense different opinions and be okay with that instead it goes like this I disagree with you and I’m going to damage your personal property loot, burn ,tearl down your statues

@iamteeg it doesn’t bother me either! People like what they like!

This is a pertinent question and an informative discussion about it. I take note that the Left is infinitely more disposed to use violence against property and persons than the Right, both in the US and abroad (I lived many years in Europe long ago, back when they murdered Aldo Moro, & had a chance to observe leftist behavior up close). That is why, even though I am fully supportive of Pres Trump with my mouth, wallet, and vote, I do not put TRUMP stickers on my vehicles; I know what will happen to them when I’m not around.

I would go a bit farther perhaps than other ‘concealers’ in the face of this kind of opposition which, to be frank, I believe is communist (small ‘c’) in nature. I wear urban ‘camo’, hats emblazoned with “Canada”, or tees (long ones covering my pistol) that read “Recycle” or some other “I’m-just-better-than-you” school marm’ reminder to the world. I want those who see me to think, “This dweeb couldn’t possibly be carrying a gun!” although, of course, I go NOWHERE without one. My only rule is that I won’t wear anything advertising for causes I deplore like BLM, Antifa, or the Democrat Party; I’m a ‘concealer’, not a crazy.

@bmurphy315 Yeh, precisely what I was attempting to point out. Thank you

You’re right, pretty smooth. I knew what I was looking for and had a hard time identifying many things on their line

Regardless, due to my age (50), I’m at a point where “gray man” is stylish anyway (not hair, it has some gray, but that can be corrected lol). So really, in my personal case, I feel it more stylish to wear solid, subdued color polos with nice jeans or chinos. But that’s just me. Everyone can clearly do as they wish. However, my style still allows for at least 2 pistols to be concealed, along with a spare mag on the belt…

Hold up sir. I did not in any way mean anyone should be scared because of any bumper stickers or pro-2A apparel, or anything like that. What I was saying was, by using such things, we can “tip our hand” to those who may have criminal intent anyway. Was simply pointing out that we conceal our firearms, yet turn around and tell everyone we own (and probably carry) them by what we wear on our bodies or put on our property, That is kind of self-contradictory, to conceal the gun but then tell by other means you have it.

And, in general, I desire to appear “nondescript,” that is, to not stand out for any reason, or be wearing anything that makes it easier for someone to notice me in a crowd. I support the wear of “gray man” clothing, certainly not bright red.
