@ George 309, that’s one of the worst ones I’ve heard in awhile and it’s no wonder people generally don’t like or trust cops. All you hear is how they put their lives on the line for us every day, well they signed up for that job so what’s the big deal. I won’t say to much more because I’m certain I’m gonna get hung out to dry by a few of them on here but the only issue I ever had with them is when I was young the SOB was a lieing SOB that costed me and my family untold buckets of money and embarrassment and you name it all for nothing, and a man who owns a big gun shop round here also runs a big range and he doesn’t let cops on his range and we asked why and he replied “ there’s no one more dangerous with a gun than a cop, and they think they know it all and won’t follow the rules or listen to anyone so I just don’t want them out here”.
Well said. My friend
Im sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the USCCA customer service team. My experience was 100% different than that. I’ve never had an issue to not be resolved. If they could not resolve my issue, I would be transferred to a supervisor expeditiously. Now they might not resolve my issue the way I would have liked, but I never failed to be heard.
To me, the USCCA is the absolute gold standard for customer service. If they quit doing business in firearms tomorrow, they would/could make a killing as a company to train customer service reps.

Nathan 57 . If anyone is interested they can have USCCA and get attorneys on retainer. As well!!
I am always sad to see someone leave. There are some good reasons (no longer carrying or owning a handgun) but overall this is a benefit one cannot do without.
There are a surprising number of USCCA membership benefits even if you don’t carry…hell even if you don’t own a gun…though the US Concealed Carry Association does have a lot of the benefits leaning towards, well, concealed carry. But certainly not all of the benefits
The benefit is for ANY incident of self defense. That does NOT limit it to carrying concealed.
If your intent is to defend yourself by all means necessary with any weapon of opportunity, including your hands, against someone trying to do you harm you need this. Otherwise you can lay down and let them kill you or lose everything you own in the process.
Funny, people don’t get this…
That’s the way my wife & I look at it. Well said, my friend
USCCA did recently send out an email with this commentary by one of their attorneys. It seemed well done:
See, this is exactly what the USCCA needs to do. This does more for my peace of mind than any amount of advertising/training. I take part in USCCA’s training as I can, when I can. But man, did that make me feel better. Two thumbs up
Thank you.
I didn’t know I could still access this site.
Hi there! I didn’t realize I could still access this community. I’m thankful for that.
One benefit for my family is that AOR covers my relatives in New York and New Jersey. They could not get coverage with USCCA because they are insurance based.
The other benefit is that AOR doesn’t have the “domestic family member” exclusion. This is where USCCA does not cover you if your “family member” becomes a threat.
There are many other benefits. I don’t want talk too much.
You misunderstand, there is no such exclusion with USCCA membership. None whatsoever.
This would be a difference, residents of NY, NJ, and WA cannot be USCCA members at this time due to the insurance aspect, the states won’t allow it
Thank you for your response.
I’m glad you have found the product that works for you and your Family.
USCCA is not the only one nor the best one Company serving those services, so we all have a choice to choose what is the best.
Good luck !
And remember to visit our Community and discuss with us.
