Why Ammo Prices Are Rising in Fall 2026 — And Why Stocking Up Now Makes Sense

Stocking up NOW has almost always made sense… Did mine 2015-2019 per the wife’s directive. $30k in ammo then, thinking it’d be about $70k now.

Thing that gets me is the amount of brass I get at my club. Police shoot pistol Wednesdays usually and I see my tax dollars all over the range lol. Picked up 300 9mm cases before I even started shooting last week. Traded my last stash of brass for a case of 124 grain 9mm a couple weeks back, and over the years it’s paid for club memberships, targets and gas. I’ll still be starting every outing picking up what others don’t.

I am not in @mattm league, but after the Biden “Kerfuffle”, I have been methodically and continuously purchasing rounds.

(Also, copper mining and refinery stocks…)

@ .43 cents ounce crackheads are going to start looking to steal our bullets! Instead of our pipes and wires.

That explains why they’re stripping the wiring harnesses out of our red tagged trailers that are stored at our offsite lot!

Mechanics say there’s at least 2-3 a month that the methheads will strip everything from the plug to the lights!

Come for the Copper, leave with the Leadicillin

LOL, do you think it is only ammo that is going up? The prevailing course of the current administration will increase the cost of everything in the next year.

This is because not many people use them, say, like for raw dogging a pornstar. Sadly, goods everyone uses daily will lower your lifestyle overall. For those who say, "Well, I have enough to fill my SUV and blah blah blah. I am sure they did not feel it was ok when others in power were costing them money. This is not a party issue; it is a personal one of what it cost you.

Sorry General, Trump inherited this inflation cycle. At the end of Trump’s first term inflation was 1.9%. Soon after Biden took office inflation went up to 9.1%. Now it’s 2.6%.
Biden’s open border allowed tens of millions of illegal aliens in our Country, which ALL BY ITSELF, pushed the price of everything up. Especially housing! Economics 101 - Supply an Demand!
Tariffs? Another inherited problem where previous administrations sold out our Country for whatever maniacal reason. What is Trump supposed to do? Just keep letting the whole world continue to fleece America with unfair tariffs, while the whole time giving the advantage to our enemies like China? How much of that cost to us, is offset by the increased revenue gained by leveling the tariff field?
The Iran war? Another inherited problem. For the last 50 years most of the previous administrations denounced Iran’s terrorist threat and nuclear ambitions and did nothing about it. Some administrations even gave them tons of money to keep the threat alive! How quick would we be in WWIII if Iran had nuclear weapons??? You definitely wouldn’t happy about that!
That’s just to name a few. It’s time to take the blinders off and look at the whole picture!

Sorry Francis…. no pun intended!

But the general seems to actively support those things that weaken our country and its people.

No facts or logic can alter his beliefs.

I do not agree with the open-border policy and am happy it was ended. The price of housing going up was caused to a greater extent by private equity firms and institutional investors, not illegal aliens. Aliens impacted some markets, but on a much broader scale, it was the other institutions.

I really wonder if people understand tariffs. What they are and how it works. I have explained this in many other post and not going to waste time doing it again other than to say it is a tax on you.

This is incorrect; many things have been done in the past to deal with the problem from every administration. Sanctions for one another—big one was stugatnet if the Israelis didn’t temper with the code; they would have never found it, or at the least, it would have remained undetected for a greater period of time. Not only was it interrupting the process of making yellow cake, but the leader thought it was some of his own people either doing it or making the parts with inferior parts or lesser specs, so he started having them executed a win-win. reducing his own people who had the knowledge to make the devices.
I have heard by every administration that Iran will have a bomb next month. I have lost faith in each administration for this. Also, Trump reported that he bombed them, and they now had no ability to make a bomb, and then 3 months later, they went to war. Please tell me which time he was lying also.

Like it or not, China has us by the balls. They control the flow of rare earth minerals and magnets, which we desperately need for our AI program. You know the AI program that told us it would kill all of us in four years.

I see the whole picture clearly, not blinded by idol worship. I love my detractors; they pull shiat out of their azz all the time and make up things about who I am and what I stand for because they simply have a learning deficit and a reading comprehension problem.
You can easily research what I have told you. Even if you have only half a brain, you will be able to find it is factual; this says a lot about the mental acuity of my detractors. As for logic, I am not even sure they understand the word. Given their baseless rants, I doubt it is a concept they even understand.
I think Trump has done more than Biden did for this country and even more for himself. Given his current poll numbers, he will be doing a lot less impactful things unless he can get his numbers back up.

IMHO that person could easily be a paid muddy the water stir the ■■■■ type… may not even be in this country!

Chirp, chirp, chirp. These people add nothing to this conversation other than their bullshit theories and Qanon beliefs; they are mentally challenged and can only talk about Me… Unlike you, who started an open dialog on the subject.
