always on body until bedtime or shower. then close by
Lmao thatâs good
I have a magnetic base to keep my firearm dry and easily accessible while in and out of the shower.
And my other firearms are always near me throughout my place. 24x7. I have designated my place as a 2A Sanctuary.
I keep a Glock 23 neat at hand at all times. Better to have and not need, than the other way around.
After having my pistol fall out of a cheap holster I had, ⊠fall on the floor, ⊠& scare the ⊠well ⊠heck, ⊠outta the guy in the next stall, who yelled
-something- jumped up & ran outta the stall without pulling up his pants.
(Seriously, true story) I learned to place my pistol on my tighty whiteyâs as I sat down⊠always at hand. Iâve heard to many stories of people who got back on the highway before realizing they left their pistol on the toilet paper dispenser âŠ
P. S. I screwed the cheap holster to my bed post after the pistol fell out
-again- in the local hardware store, right in front of the owner⊠fortunately the store owner was a good guy who said he was happy to see legal gun owners⊠I however, was deeply embarrassed âŠ
After reading the original post and all the replies, Iâm surprised at the number of people who are never far from a firearm. I do not carry In my home but am never farther than 5 steps from a weapon/tool. I have rarely given any consideration to that fact. Currently have two pistols less than an arms length away. Many of my friends are the same way. Glad to know Iâm not alone in being prepared.
So you are fully-dressed in your âbirthday suitâ? Fully-dressed means carrying at least one firearm. I will not ask how you do that. Presumably (hopefully?) not CC.
How often are you in public without pants?
Wait, please donât tell us.
It seems like most people who are working from home are leaving their EDC gear in some sort of location to dump all of their belongings to have it ready to go. Iâve watched a lot of YouTubers who are known for EDC reviews and a majority of them donât have anything in their pockets while working from home. Iâm just so used to waking up and getting ready for the day and putting on clothes instead of lounging around in sweatpants. My routine is still the same with having my wallet, flashlight, knife and what not in my pockets but I donât carry my firearm. I typically have it in my lifepod case when Iâm not carrying it so thatâs where itâs at majority of the time when Iâm home.
As I mentioned further up in this thread. My gun is within arms reach at all times.
Same here - at least one.
Now thatâs a idea I like
I also always have clear or translucent shower curtains.
Maybe I watched the movie âPsychoâ too many times?
I have gun magnets under the dining table, on the wall side of the toilet, on my bedpost, om the side of the fridge & by my swivel lounger on the patio. when I am in that area, I put my EDC on the magnet Except the kitchen table & the bedpost. A full size 9mm stays under the dining room table & a 1911 stays on the bedpost. We are empty nesters.
