I like global ordnance, pretty comparable to other online retailer, like target sports, Palmetto state. Lately they’ve been more apt to have stock, and 12$ flat shipping rate. Pretty dang fast too.
Big fan of Target Sports myself. Fast shipping under normal circumstances. 8 to 10 day delay right now.
With crazy ammo prizes - GunBroker has been working for me for last few weeks.
It takes some time to find good reliable seller, but recently I’ve bought 1000 Blazer Brass for $350 something (don’t remember exact amount) and last night I got 1000 bulk box for $299 delivered.
If that’s the price you’re paying for 9MM, you’re being gouged.
gouged?
Can you point me to 9mm ammo I can buy not being gouged these days?
the cheapest 9mm I see right now on ammoseek is $0.40/cpr.
Is it gouging? Arguable, for sure. But that is the going rate right now.
I’m holding off on buying more ammo as long as I can. I hope the price drops before my willpower does…
Range ammo online seems to be .18-.20/rd all day long. Use SGAMMO or AMMOSEEK.
I just took this screenshot on AmmoSeek just now. Only filter is 9mm and brass cased (I dont shoot steel-cased). SGAmmo is totally sold out. Literally, where are ya’ll seeing these prices and stock? I haven’t seen $0.18/cpr since FEBRUARY right before the 'Rona hit.
From the last week or three. https://www.ammoland.com/category/ammunition/#axzz6SBb7PA8Q
I’m not in the market, but I get these $.20/rd almost daily from one place or another. Maybe join some mailing lists for ammo resellers?
Price is good, but there is one trick:
Have to plan for the future
UGH. My hopes were up and then quickly CRUSHED
I might consider ordering anyway (i will scope out ammoland from now on), but I’ve heard many tales of orders cancelled or further delayed because the store didn’t get the stock they expected. Decisions, decisions… thanks tho @Brad
Just so I’m clear…this is a group that believes in multiple firearms at all times with one in the chamber but doesn’t buy ammo in advance? (Do we want to be prepared or do we not want to be prepared?)
we want to be prepared
I’m not taking any chances to order ammo for $0.20 and then receive email that my order “has been cancelled”.
I know I have to spend a little more now, but I feel comfortable having ammo in my basement, not somewhere in the cloud.
Math is very simple:
Regular price for 1,000 rounds: $180
Covid19 price for 1,000 rounds: $350
--------------------------------------------------.
How much more do I have to spend per month: $170
It’s $5.66 per day. I’m going on diet then and I save around $10/day buying veggies, fruits, water and coffee.
3 birds with 1 stone:
- I’ve got ammo to use
- I lose few pounds
- I get extra $4 per day
Very funny!
You don’t have to choose, though. Get some on bac korder and get more when you find it. It won’t go bad before you use it.
Haha! I have “enough” to last for “a while”. Specifically, I keep enough to outlast any reasonable price surge or ammo shortage. Patience is my dear friend.
What makes me a little uneasy is that we just keep getting panic after panic. So I dont know if I have years worth of a stash.
So that makes me consider giving gulp $200 to a company and hope that maaaaaaybeeeee I get some ammo in a few months
I’ve looked thru the replies and AMMO seek comes a few times. Since I am an instructor ammo is something I can’t be without , so I keep a short list of best prices for 9mm, 5.56, 300 blkout, and 7.62 current. I also am signed up to several dealers who are notorious for running sales (for example PSA) and keep abreast of their promotions. I’m not a prepper but I like to have about 2000 rds of each in stock for in case they start gouging again. Just my 2 cents. Have a great day!
Palmetto State Armory’s AAC brand is hard to beat.
Nah… it wasn’t so hard…
1,000 rounds of “AAC” from PSA:
1,000 rounds of “New Republic” from Target Sport USA: [regular price]
1,000 rounds of “BPS” from Sentry Ammo: [regular price]
1,000 rounds of “Turan” from 2A Warehouse (bought last night): [daily deal]
I strongly recommend to sign up for notifications at online stores to get deals. These days training ammo shouldn’t cost more than 25 cents per round delivered.
Don’t like those. I like AAC
