Where cancel culture seems headed?

seems to be a pattern here… history seems to support that pattern…

gotta wonder… with the stuff happening in Portland and such… they seem rather vicious in their actions…

and that video of that kid defending himself when antifa/blm type followed him and attacked him…

one even had a gun… and looked like he was bringing it to bare on that kid… so…

just how far are these people willing to go???

and ya some might consider this fear mongering… BUT… look back at history FIRST!

you are of course free to look up info on your own… it’s at your finger tips…

Every one of those pieces of crap that went after Kyle was one or more of: thief, crackhead, junkie, pedo, rapist… Probably so for the entire Antifa/BLM population.

There are scumbags in every crowd. But the most dangerous scumbags are not the petty ones you name. The truly dangerous ones are the idealists who believe they are acting from the moral high ground. The most atrocious crimes in history are done by those who believe they are right and everyone else is wrong.

I have no sympathy for antifa they seem far more fascist than the people they claim to be against. But I seriously doubt the majority of BLM folks fit the names you are throwing around. I believe most are regular human beings who just like the rest of us simply want to be able to safely walk down the street and sleep in their homes without being assaulted. But there are violent people on the left and the right looking to take advantage of the large crowds and growing discontent to further their own agendas. It is important for all of us to not be led over the cliff by people yanking on our emotions for their own personal gain.

ya might wanna look more closely at who is running BLM???

Yeah I suppose so, just seen too many clips of the antifa/blm folks harassing people and beating on people and such I guess

Yes just like all the clips of cops getting beat up at the capital protests. That was a very small percentage of the protesters there that day. Same with BLM protests. Most of the people participating at these events are not violent regardless what the agendas are of their leader’s and the uninvited agitators/manipulators.

Most human beings are good people. The “Us” vs “Them” mentality is a dangerous thing easily put to evil uses.

Yes the agitators

IMHO… NOPE most humans are NOT good people…

and IMHO history backs up those words… go look at all the so called “good” people you speak of…

and what they did to their own…

as to “Us” vs “Them” that is NOT my decision… THEY will… and some already have… chosen that for us all…

here is the thing… this nation is founded on Christian principals… NOTE: I did not say it was Christian…

but the basics of our original founding documents and attitudes were based on that…

much of western culture is also founded on those same principal…

if you go look at some other nations and areas of our world you will find drastically different morals and attitudes…

blood feud and slavery still exist in some areas…

the morals and such of this country have changed considerably within the last 20 years…

NOTE: when I was young stomping on someone when they were down was a BIG NO NO and could get you prison times for attempted murder…

now… you can see over and over video’s of fights that turn deadly and even end in crippled, maimed, or dead folks…

on the net…

did anyone that jumped on the guy that was defending a building get caught and prosecuted?

they chased him down and kicked and stomped him to death… you can see the video if ya look…

kid was stupid and had a machete… didn’t help him and he decided to not use that weapon and ran…

again NOPE!!! people are NOT mostly nice or even reasonable…

just look around real close at what is happening all around you… wake up…

or you may find yourself discovering the truth the hard way…

please keep in mind I am NOT telling anyone to go look for trouble!!!

what I’m saying is wake up… be ready… to protect yourself and your loved ones… and those you care about…

and do your best to locate people that are like minded!!!

but do NOT go lookin for trouble… just be ready incase it comes to you…

I am wide awake and as ready as I can be for the approaching train wreck. Which is to say not nearly as prepared as I likely need to be but I am doing what I can with what I got.

But I have lived and worked in a lot of places around this country and you can’t convince me that the vast majority of people here are not simply trying to do the best they can with what they got. Sure if you watch the news you will see endless images of bad people doing bad things. Because no one is going to put video on the news of regular people going to work and taking care of their families which is what the vast majority of people do every day.

The danger is when the greedy, short sighted, power mongers convince a large enough group of people that some other group is an evil plague that must be wiped out in the name of good. Most good people are easily manipulated because they don’t want power over others and don’t recognize that most of those that do are the true evil amongst us.

starting to look at your replies more closely… troubling… you kinda sound like a shill??? hope you’re not…

for the record… NO WHERE in any of my post have I called for any violence to anyone… for any reason…

NO WHERE!!!

yet your post seem to be slanting things in that direction… so are you for cancel culture?

all I’ve posted in this thread is where it may be going… and given my reason for presenting such…

and while you say you have been to many places… I gotta ask… what were they??? nice places…

I have seen some very nasty ones… some even here in the U.S.

that you best not be in come sundown and maybe even day light…

and it don’t take a lot of folks to make things bad… only a few… doing things most would not…

and gathering together and seeking out prey… as in someone NOT aware of their danger…

also our prisons have many that need no greedy, short sighted, power mongers to convince them…

and in some areas there are children that are doing murder n such…

go watch a Denzel Washington youtube about em… he was shocked too… think he called em little yummies?

don’t remember which one it was… watched several… but all of em IMHO are worth a watch…

as too most people… sadly they are not fully aware of what the world is really like outside their little circle…

all they have ever know is mostly nicey nice, goody good stuff… thats mostly local… (thank you Christian Doctrine)

and actually do NOT want to look at the real world or what’s in it… too shocking I guess…
things get nasty… and many will go down with little or no fight… they seem to be unable to grasp what’s truly real…

although with so many buying so many firearms recently perhaps they are starting to wake up…

You appear to be wasting a lot of time and effort talking to a shill (whatever you mean by that). No where in my posts have I said you were looking for trouble. I don’t believe you are. My only disagreement with your statements is that you seem to be viewing most people as evil lost causes. I just don’t believe that to be the case.

I have been very fortunate to live in mostly good places but I regularly work in and occasionally travel to some real crap holes. Even in those crap holes most folks seem mostly good. Doing the best they can in the crappy situations they were dumped in. Yes it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the barrel. But I don’t believe you need to throw away the whole barrel just because you find bad apples in there. You either pull out the bad ones or move the good ones to a new barrel.

did ya ever wonder why they SEEM to be “good” people?

AND

who said throw away the whole barrel? where did you come up with that?

OK ask yourself this…

WHY are they acting like good people and answer here please…

Well if all the “seemingly” good apples were just putting on an act I don’t know why you would bother saving anything from the barrel? And I don’t know why anyone would put on an act to impress me with their “fake” goodness? I work in some very remote places so I could easily be taken down if all of their intentions were bad. There would be no witnesses. I have had to let the incredibly rare few who I caught thinking about it know that I would not go down peacefully. Fortunately those rare bad apples we’re not motivated enough to try their luck.

It is old news. I want to look more closely at who’s hamstringing police, and who is dismissing charges against the criminal rioters and paying their bail, and who is feeding false narrative while suppressing true one in MSM. I guarantee you it is not the same folks. Or maybe it is the same folks hiding behind a mask of some loud grotesquely looking a-hole.

You all are fighting about which protesters are good and which are bad. This is myopic. How about the protest itself, did it self organize, just like this, all over the place, for so long? There are people in command-and-control, there are streams of money, this whole thing requires a lot of money. If only we had federal law enforcement to track it.

Sorry guys, you are wrong.
ANTIFA is not a real thing.

I find the move to the left very dangerous—brings back memories when I lived in Communist Yugoslavia (We finally fled in 1955). Antifa and BLM work out of Saul Alinsky’s playbook “Rules for Radicals” as do many people associated with the Democrat party. The riots in the summer of 2020 and the current riots in Portland, OR were and still are orchestrated by the left. The right has been markedly reserved in their activities. The “Insurrection” in DC had a mixture of right and left participants. It is still being looked at , and the results will probably be skewed toward blaming the Trump people even though known Antifa operatives participated in the riot. The Dems got a lot of milage out of this with their fence. Like Pelosi and company are really in danger? Give me a break.

there are people out there that do what most see as good or right more because of the consequences of doing wrong seem to costly then the desire to do right.

some of these people are our neighbors and in some case even family members…

ya I know… sad huh… thing is IF the system stops punishing wrong doers or even rewards them…

government is supposed to protect all of our rights… if the government stops doing that…

and seems to reward poor or bad behavior???

well look at some of the major cities here in the US… IIRC some politicians are actually paying people to be good…

and IMHO that is NOT going to turn out well… history has shown… give such people a little power… and look out!

and I agree with you… you have been fortunate… but watch yourself… that incredibly few in numbers is growing…

because they are beginning to think there are no or very small consequences to wrong or bad actions…

history shows all that I write about… over and over…

thinkin the Alexander’s (8 and 18) fully understand where I’m coming from… others seem to get it too…

which suggests you do not???

sadly there are many people that presently seem to normally do good…

that believe there is a reward in doing… and will do… bad or even very bad things if they think they will escape reprisal…

that’s just the way it is… just read history… there are plenty of examples…

done trying to explain… I could be wrong… but thinkin you don’t get it cause you may not want to… perhaps it will destroy your world or something??? nothing wrong with wanting to believe in the good of a society I guess…

oh well… best wish’s…

I agree it’s old news… yet there seems to be some that just missed it somehow…

not sure how they managed to not see it but they missed it???

did not realize this was a fight???

that said… there seems to be a thing that strongly suggest to remain silent is so sort of agreement with what’s said…

so I do NOT remain silent!!!

best wish’s

While January 6th was a terrible day, how is it any different from what Antifah did the other night they set the Federal Courthouse in Portland on fire with people inside. Or BLM/Antifah seizure of multiple residential blocks of property in Mininneapolis and have held it for 9 straight months. Cops can’t get in, nor can emergency services. Violent crime is up,

Both Minneapolis and Portland participated in the defunding of
The police. Now they are scrambling to hire hundreds of police officers.

BTW the guy who set the courthouse on fire in Portland with people inside it earlier this week, was released on bail one hour earlier for acting out at Wells Fargo. Funny the differences in treatments between right and left

The biggest difference I see between the events is that on January 6th the Washington Elite were directly threatened and they believe their safety is more important than the rest of us minions.

The point I was trying to make is that the majority of protesters at the Capital event and last years BLM demonstrations were legally and peacefully demonstrating and should not all be lumped in together with the relatively small number of violent criminals and alternate agenda agitators who are taking advantage of all the fear and anger. Both sides have legitimate concerns that need to be heard and resolved. But violence and manipulation are burying the important messages.
