there are already groups like CAIR that want blaspheme laws here and there are ppl in congress, AOC and the squad, pushing to get it.

Well, the Declaration of Independence did provide more fodder for the revolution, though it really had already begun. It was just that the British government did not agree with the idea that the American colonies were independent. They needed convincing. I do not see the French helping us today.
