“In a criminal complaint, the officials said that the judge destroyed the phone with a hammer and that the device was being sought because it may have contained photographs showing Ortega-Lopez possessing weapons, some of which allegedly belonged to Cano, his wife and their daughter.”

So he smashes the phone, they charge him him for tampering with evidence. I get it. BUT here’s the question. Which is worse the pictures of the guy with the guns or the judge smashing the phone.
So now he goes to court says the hammer fell on the phone, several times, by accident. He doesn’t have to go to court and answer why the gang member in the pictures is holding one of his guns and flashing gang signs. From the dark side of my mind, I say it was probably the smart thing to do.

The issue I’m having a hard time with is the fact that TDA and MS13 members don’t just join these gangs. Now sometimes separating fact from fiction is challenging, but in looking at the information on initiations to join these gangs, it isn’t a simple process. I read one that stated you had to kill a rival gang member or his family member to get in. True or false, I’m questioning how these judges can paint these people as their little angels without looking into who they are and what was required to became a gang member. If these people have to have felonies, discovered or not, to become members of their respective organizations, is that not enough to deport them?

I don’t know if this is 100% factual, but I do know that the accusations have been made, the whistle blower does exist, and it appears to be the case as stated is true. But I am not 100% sure. So do your own research.

True. Story time: In my impoverished yoot, that’s right your honor, I lived in gang infested Venice CA. A few blocks from my apartment building a young woman was found slumped in her car at a traffic light with a hole in her head. The perp was a 15 year old wannabe blood. This was 35 years ago. The bloods have expanded their tentacles and are in major cities across America now but they are tame compared to MS13. They haven’t graduated to beheading people, a cartel favorite. So yeah, totally believable.

To me, this all goes back to If it walks like a duck… We’ve watched this go on at all levels of courts for some time now. Exposing it was just a matter of time, and the right Administration with a pair of balls.
