I lock my door before I turn the ignition key on, I never wait for the auto lock to kick in, takes too long for my taste.

Last six months, 360 check around the vehicle, locked as soon as I enter.

He stayed pretty damn calm during this. I could not tell whether he lost his wallet, but there’s nothing in anyone’s wallet that cannot be replaced. Credit cards all reimburse fraudulent charges. A driver’s license is just a piece of paper with your picture on it that the state can easily replace.
“'Tro money” (a roll of small bills that you can give up or throw on the ground while making an escape) in one pocket is a good idea for anyone venturing in bad neighborhoods.
