Dawn, thank you for your reply, it aggravated me enough that I had to dig into this.
Florida Statute 776.013 appears to support my initial response is legal and some websites seem to support the way I think it reads.
However, I consulted my Florida Firearms Law, Use & Ownership book written by Jon H. Gutmacher, Esq. The book basically says you can use non-deadly force where a physical attack is involved (I donāt want to infringe on copywrite laws and quote the book verbatim). It goes on to say you are not protected by the Statute if you are classified as the āaggressorā.
