I’d love to say you’re wrong…. I can’t
Sad to say there is a lot of truth being said . And Iknow a lot of them.
What do you mean we are them.
By my computers information they do not know what rednecks are.
WRONG
a white person of low social status living in a rural area, especially one seen as politically reactionary and unsophisticated
So, if a southern farmer who is black and holds the standards cannot be a Redneck? Unsophisticated?
Hillbilly - an unsophisticated country person, as associated originally with the remote regions of the Appalachians.
CRACKER -a contemptuous term for a white person, especially an impoverished white person living in the southern US.
COUNTRY BOYS - a male who grew up in a rural area, often connected to nature, hard work, and traditional values, though the term can carry both positive and negative connotations.
Well, which is it? I just might take offence to the wrong answer.
There is a reason the movie “28 Days Later” takes place in England. If it would have taken place in Texas it would have been called “28 Minutes Later”.
When I lived in the city if someone called me a red neck I took offense. Now I live in the hills so it is a term of endearment. You can take it anyway you like.
The terms “redneck” and “cracker” were both in common use in southwest England well before the people of that region began migrating to what would become the U.S.. They brought their language, especially their slang, with them when they came. These terms aren’t new, or unique to America.
PS: That doesn’t mean they don’t apply!
I prefer to be called ‘saltine’ and ‘sunburned fool’ ![]()
I don’t mind the term Redneck I do mind cracker but I will except either one over progressive liberal
I lived in Florida until 19 yrs ago when I moved to Texas so I will let that speak for itself.
I have found in life it doesn’t really matter what they may call you. It only matters what you will answer too; that may effect your life dramatically.
We will all answer to God, if there is one, so act accordingly.
The muzzies in the USA better learn that hymn, especially the phrase, to the shores of Tripoli. Marines don’t FA, but they will make you FO.
When did it switch from terrorists to muzzies? Why not call them what they are? It makes me think we are fighting the wrong people.
@Robert1246 I think these Muslims already know the words to the Marine hymn.
I guess it is a good thing that our leader of the military wears his Muslim tattoo with pride.
@Robert1246 Are you saying it is ignorant to segregate people into groups based on, say, color or religion?
This is America after all. No true American would call for anything like that; it breaks with the tenets on which this country was founded: the Constitution.
They would refrain from using derogatory terms to validate their narrow-minded oppression of a group.
No true patriot supports the systemic, unjust, and cruel exercise of power and authority by one group to subordinate another, restricting freedoms and opportunities through institutional policies, cultural norms, and social behaviors.
I know America is at its best when they follow the guidelines laid out in the Constitution.
Not abandoning them to outliers that wish nothing more than to subjugate its populace.
“Those people,” I do believe, lost the war.
For a second I thought it was Trump giving one of his latest speeches. I did a double take. Then I thought this must be someone who knew Dave or Don personally and recorded them. Then it hit me. After I thought, “What meatheads,” then I remembered, “Yeah, meathead.”

Yes, and create felons out of law-abiding firearm owners with the passage of unconstitutional firearm laws.
Yes, the sarcasm/humor, again, went well over your head. Yes, I did mean islamic terrorists, that’s who the muzzies are. Those who believe in our Constitution, laws, and way of life, it doesn’t matter what they are. That means those on any side of the political aisle, or religion or whatever else they identify as that are openly hostile to us and our Constitution, laws, society, way of life, beliefs, and freedoms, etc., are not accepted here, just as it is in any other country that wants to remain a country.
[Edit] I knew a green card holder that is a Berber who said he was interested in joining the Marines. I found that quite amusing. I asked him if he knew the Marine’s hymn. He said, no and asked why I asked. I stated that it had a reference in it to the Barbary Wars. He said he did not know what that those were, either. He said he knew nothing about that part of his country’s past, to which one can only reach two conclusions. He is either lying or Libya does not teach that part of their history.
