What is your plan, your setup to evacuate if needed?

And rightfully so… but i guess stepping back from my initial thoughts and considering your on my way home, i come to the conclusion… Is there really a right way?? My wife and I take care of my mom who would probably be in her wheel chair if we had to move quick, so for me… less movement in the field with greater intel on my AO is paramount in my decision making, but im coming from a urban stand point of thinking. If your in a area of more open terrain, your idea would be awesome! But is there a middle ground that would cover both point of view??

Low tech and hi tech and old school have places all around the globe, but considering everything, I wonder if something can be thought of thats low power/noise, but versitile enough where all of us could find a place for it in our equipment lists?? Anyone??

A tech I am looking into for that purpose is RC powered Gliders. Power to get up and then shutdown for silent running and observation.

When it comes to my plan to get out, 3.5hrs drive inland to a tiny town or 1.5hrs to the coast for family properties more friends st the coast, have places south i can setup at. North, not going there…

My van is my vehicle of choice as its a decommissioned ambulance. Diesel, can run on bio, no electronics. Full box body.

Equipped with solar, wind power, backup generator hot water showers, tents, water for me and my dog for a good 1.5 weeks (more if i put inside the sierra springs jugs), 2 weeks food. HAM radio gear to listen full soldering and wiring equipment, satellite TV antenna. Satellite TV boxes, wifi, smart systems, Pure sine wave inverter, rechargable battery charging bays, lipo cells, AC and DC LED, drone flying gear, smart chargers, cameras, and all other kinds of goodies.

We live in a bunker… er … underground house. Year-round spring across the dirt road from us, a pond, plenty of woods, small garden with room for expansion, grow our own livestock and birds.
We have farm gas and diesel in hand, stock (not enough of) everything we use, and have a broad set of both low and high tech tools and skills. Some definite holes in our supplies, but we work on filling the gaps every month.

If the intruder was in possession of a deadly weapon I would escape out the back door and immediately go to neighbors across the street!
