So, if they kick your door in does that change your “response?”
I mean, not responding to the door might indicate to them that the home is unoccupied.

Houses are arranged differently. I didn’t elaborate in first post, but mine has a natural pinch point at the stairs going up. If door comes in, I retreat to natural zone where I’m protected, and intruder is not.
