What is that gun?

The guy in the front. That gun looks ducking BIG. The magazine looks like it could hold some sizeable rounds. Can’t say as I’ve ever seen anything like it.

Nor have I.
Interesting, but it also looks like it would be uncomfortable, at best, to use.

I’m no expert on shotguns, but it looks like a shotgun to me.

I agree with jerzees, h&k g3 or another FAL variant (minus the carry handle)

Looks a lot like an FN FAL variant…

Ill guarantee you its 7.62x51. I know FAL’s really arent that bad to shoot.

It is the H&K G3, the Pakistan Military uses them, they produce them under license out of the Pakistan Ordnance Factories.

Yeah, would get a workout carrying that around all day, with 20 rounds the weight comes in at 14 lbs and that is without a scope.

Id still like one. Of course i wouldnt be humping it all day. It would still be better than swimming with a m240G, joys of youth that i dont want to do again.

I like the FAL, but knowing H&k, the G3 is probably better

I also think H&K.

That’s a G3A3 H&K, its chambered in 7.62x51 NATO. Its commonly used by Pakistan for it good long range performance that are good for mountain combat that would be a major theater in any Pakistanie wars. Its actually doing really good for a 6 decade old platform. I actually did some research on it and the FN FAL a while back. Its annoying we got the M14 instead of something like this.

I’d say we identified the gun,… as to the round?

Yes, 7.62x51 (7.62NATO) is significantly heavier than a 5.56, and no, not gonna get as many rounds per magazine.

However it is certainly a much harder hitting round capable of longer ranges, and it’s not that abusive to shoot from a battle rifle.

I would say if anything, the iron sights on that gun are not able to reach out to the distance the round is capable of achieving. (At least not with my skills!)

Yep, that just about sums it up.

Man, I’ll tell you, this community Knows Stuff! I wouldn’t have even known where to start looking to identify that gun, people on here already know.

Thanks Folks “U Rock!”

Its actually where the system from the MP5 comes from. (Roller-delayed blowback)
