We are in trouble

Come to Arizona. Arizona is a CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY STATE. And volunteer at my gun club and talk to people that have moved to Arizona from Calf. because of their dumb gun laws. And they tell me that they love it because of how gun friendly the state is.

If all this crap passes and becomes law, I’ll have no choice but to leave. I fought for this country and now they want to take away my rights.

Sadly, I’m not surprised. Quick question: This is just a bill coming out of committee. It still needs to survive both Senate and House votes, plus a potential gubernatorial veto. Will it pass muster with the big 3?

Not as cold in Idaho as you’d think, but we do have a growing blue population around Boise which I’m afraid is going to give us electoral problems down the road. I’m in Sandpoint in the panhandle. Love it!

It’s released from the comity, will be heard by the house Monday. Sadly, the dems have a stronghold on the house and the Senate could go either way. The Governor is not a friend to our community.

All the states are in jeopardy. One by one, they are tipping over. I’ve said it time and time again, but previously pro-2A states like Oregon, Washington, Colorado have already flipped. States like Virginia (mine), North Carolina, Kentucky(!), Georgia, Texas are in the midst of flipping. Sights have been set on states like Utah and Nevada.

I can’t say that we have a winning recipe here, but Virginia was able to mostly stave off (knocks on wood because the session isn’t over yet) oppressive gun control by unifying all the rural Counties, Towns, and Cities into 2A sanctuaries, by organizing grass roots efforts to contact legislators (repeatedly), and with the help of state 2A support groups (Virginia Citizens Defense League) along with national groups like GOA, SAF, ASA, etc. You can reach out to any of those groups and see if they can give you a hand.

Getting organized is key. Stay polite, but reach out to your legislators by email, phone, and preferably in person. Get all your friends and neighbors to do the same. Have your arguments legitimately backed up by statistics and studies (this is the easy part) and why they should vote for/against any particular proposed law.

For the anti-gunners, learn to speak their language… If you tell a liberal anti-gunner “because SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” they immediately tune you out. But if you tell them a red-flag law has no provision for state-provided counsel and that this will harm low-income household unequally, that grabs their attention.

I left the People’s Socialist Republic of Kalifornia when I retired in 2013. Purchased all my ARs in that state except for the new one I picked up today. Bullet Buttons are all removed since I live in a somewhat free state now.

I flew a few firearms into Kalifornia in my airplane while I lived there. I owned them for years but did not move them when I moved in. I flew some of them back out and the rest moved with my belongs in ground transportation.

If you want air surveillance for your operation, I am your pilot. Have lots of flying friends and my be able to get a small air force.

I use to think the 10th amendment was the only hooe for the 2nd. Now I believe the only hope is 4 more years of Trump and a whole lot more judicial appoinments. Then possibly some more definitive judicial decisions clarifying the 2nd and overriding some of these horrible state laws.

blooming idiot is pulling strings because the people are allowing it to happen. Why is it that so many people are forgetting history and the fight that was tested by the settlers who left their homeland because of tyranny ?? And now we are faced with it here - because the people allow it to happen. IF they don’t like it here the way it has been for centuries, let them move to a country they “think” will be better under socialism and perhaps wake the hell up and see what the real truth is.
