Now, in a mass shooting, is it when four or more people are killed or four or more shot? Just curious, I want to understand the definition of a mass shooting better.

That is entirely up to the agenda of the person/group. doing the defining.
The anti self defense groups seem to waffle between 3 and 4 people being shot sometimes including the shooter and sometimes not. It all depends on which set of numbers best âprovesâ the point they are trying to misrepresent.
The FBI defines mass murder as an event where 4 or more people are killed regardless of weapon type. They define an Active Shooter Incident as an event where 1 or more individuals are actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area.
The anti self defense crowdâs definitions ignore all the active shooter events where the shooter was stopped (often by a legal concealed carrier) before reaching whatever made up number they are using.

Question - If four guys or more break into your house. You shoot four of them, would that be a mass shooting?

It is crazy how if 12 gang members run into twelve other gang members and they shoot it out then it would be a mass shooting and not a gang shooting.

You seem to struggle with liberal logic. I suppose you will dispute âwork-related violenceâ in San Bernardino shooting too.

By some of the mass mediaâs definitions if you have 2 gang members run into 2 other gang member and 3 or more of them get shot then you have a âmass shootingâ.
The news media seldom covers these incidents which occur most every day. But they love covering the incredibly rare stories of innocent people and kids getting senselessly killed by some deranged psycho. They then lump the everyday gang event numbers in with the rare psycho event stats to intentionally mislead people into believing there are hundreds of school and other large scale âmass shootingsâ every year when in reality that number usually ranges somewhere between zero and a couple per year. Though thanks to all the media hype, profiteering and manipulation we are now getting more copycat incidents.

In Demolition run cities if (12) gang members vs. (12) gang members shoot (500) rounds @ each other, and usually hit nobody they were aiming âŠcheck that Pointing @ they donât call it Mass anything. They call it a âdifference of opinionâ or âThose wacky Yoots!â Boiâs will be Boiâs!

I shop in Evansville Indiana frequently. It is not like Indianapolis yet but is still not safe. I would never get caught there after dark. All the Walmartâs there have had shootings. One has had several. Sometimes it has been drug related and at least once an employee was shot. I never shop at Walmart there any longer.

Here is an example of mass shooting with âunclear motiveâ. No social media, no conversations with neighbors reveal anything. Yep.
@Robert1351, I go to Evansville regularly as well. I sometimes go to do some work for my former employer. The location is in a âmoderateâ neighborhood, which means that during the day I can leave my carry in the car (or maybe in my toolbox), but after dusk itâs on my hip.
Evansville isnât the town it used to be; several shootings every week, arsons, and a general âhead on a swivelâ sort of feeling.
Whatever became of that shooting in Fargo? The guy (Mohamad Barakat) was said to have 1800 rnds and rifles, pistols, and a grenade. Was it hushed up because he may have ties to the Somali Community?
