Violence in Ill. - It's not all that new

Stolen from the comments section of the article:
“Looks like Chicago needs more common sense gun control laws.”

Sadly I doubt an armed public would change much here. One of my Army roomies was from Cabrini Green, this was in the 70’s. This place was violent back then.

I have already seen several articles about Juneteenth shootings, CA, WA, IL is the biggest so far, and it is not even Juneteenth yet

Any shooting is a tragedy. In Illinois’ case it’s a combination of denial, poor leadership, and tragedy.
