USCCA teases Staccato

Ok, I keep seeing Staccato logos in the magazine and occasionally on the site related to Perks & Discounts, but no Staccato to be seen when you click into Perks.

Is it my membership level and there are discounts available at higher tiers? Or is USCCA just teasing us?

Direct from ai’s mouth

Staccato (Staccato 2011) recently cut roughly 85 staff members at its headquarters in Florence, Texas, alongside a massive corporate restructuring that slashed about 50% of its independent dealer network. [1, 2, 3]

Key Details of the Restructuring

  • Headquarters Layoffs: Reports and community tracking indicate approximately 85 employees were laid off at the Staccato 2011 head office in early August 2026. [1, 2]
  • Dealer Network Purge: The company abruptly canceled contracts and backorders for around 200 independent dealers and training facilities (including prominent names like Gunsite), shifting a higher percentage of sales directly through streamlined channels. [1, 2, 3]
  • Private Equity Timeline: Industry insiders attribute the internal turmoil and structural changes to optimization strategies following private equity involvement. [1]
  • Warranty Clarification: While initial rumors claimed dropped dealer inventory would lose factory warranties or be reclassified as used, company responses clarified that factory warranty coverage for existing customer purchases remains unchanged. [1, 2]
