English Language 101:

“Them” can be used as a singular pronoun to refer to a person when the gender of the person is unknown or unspecified.
This is called the singular “they”.
So when the context requires it, they/them/their/theirs, like you/your/yours (long used as both singular and plural forms), can be used to refer to one person.

@Mike164 You can easily fix the Wok above and the Wok jokes will stop, and that mean Doggy won’t come by and say u are stupid. :upside_down_face:
P.S. It’s been “them” as far back as I can remember. 2019. :slightly_smiling_face:

Actually, in proper English, the pronoun for unspecified/unknown gender is he.
