It did send. I didn’t think it did but yeah that’s the handgun. The worst I’ve ever shot and now it’s in a shadow box. The whole entire magazine jammed. Every single round I shoot. I disassembled and looked at it. very poorly made handgun.

@Zee, and if the jamming doesn’t annoy you the take down lever will rub your hand raw before you even finish the magazine.

well, that’d make it the opposite of my P89… it’s pretty industrial, and it’s not a tack driver but it’s about as 100% bang-every-time as anything I own.

I have a P89 that jammed every round till I started using 147gr Ammo haven’t had a jam in 3000 rounds since then.

Ugliest has to be the Hi-Point but it goes bang every time. Worst was a SW MP9 jammed about every 3-4 rounds and always threw the brass back in my face

@Ray4 - that’s interesting… mine shoots everything, no issues… 115, 124, 147, hollowpoint, FMJ. I don’t think I can recall ever having a misfeed on it. I heard there were some changes between early production and later production models, but I don’t know what was done… and I’m going to have to look up if mine is an older or a newer one. Affected some of the magazine fit as well. I know mine won’t take some of the aftermarket mags that list p89-p95 compatible.

Ugliest gun I ever shot was a single shot, breach loading handgun that shot .410 gauge shells.

I wouldn’t knock the Hi-Points. I’ve got 2 and find they’re reliable and shot straight out of the box. I’ve got a .40 pistol and a 9mm carbine. The only thing I have done to either of them is to polish the feed ramp on the pistol. I never had any problems with feeding, but someone on the forum suggested it The carbine feed ramp was fine out of the box. My EDC is a S&W SDVE 9mm. It’s got several thousand rounds without any problems. I heard a lot of bad mouthing of the Hi-Points before I got my pistol. I got it used at a great price. One thing that I think people find undesirable is the weight. The slide is quite heavy, but it sure makes a difference in recoil. The Hi-Point .40 has less recoil than the S&W 9mm. I keep the Hi-Point as my night stand pistol.

I’m sure very few survived. They were a 1 shot device that was used to kill German soldiers to take their weapons from them. I’ve heard them called 1 shot suicide guns.

I was 14 at the time, I was shooting clays with my step dad. A friend of his came up and bet I couldn’t hit a coke can with it. Luckily my step dad showed me how to get a grip on it to control the recoil. It wasn’t fun, but I won the box of shells. I’m 52 now, fun memories.
